L'effet Doppler or The Doppler Effect. A multiphonique fantasy for flute solo in Romantic style composed and played by Gergely Ittzés. The piece imitates the typical 19th c. salon variations while using the most advanced technics. It includes many musical gags and winks towards modern music. You can recognize the acoustic phenomenon called Doppler effect but no original theme by Franz Doppler, only his Hungarian Gypsy influenced tone. Oct. 27th, 2009.
