Shawandha Ecolodge // Puerto Viejo, Limon, Costa Rica Hotel

Shawandha Ecolodge surpassed my expectations as a great hotel in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.

It's just a short walk from Shawandha's property to the Caribbean, but you'll feel secluded in the rainforest. You'll get your own hut or bungalow, some of which surround a beautiful pool.

The staff is especially proud of their ancient Ceibo Tree, which towers above the rainforest, as well as the hotel dog, Simba, who sleeps at the entrance.
