Asian Cultural Heritage Conservation & Utilization 2024 - Team Tanglaw (Escolta)

“Amidst Asia's rapid development and the growing challenges to its cultural heritage, Team Tanglaw (Light to Guide One’s Path), composed of five dedicated students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, A. Mabini Campus, is proud to present their entry for the 2024 Asia Cultural Heritage Conservation & Utilization Proposal Video Pitch.”

The team’s proposal reflects our commitment to preserving and innovatively utilizing Asia's rich cultural legacy, particularly through heritage conservation efforts in Escolta, Manila. By creatively employing local wisdom, the team seeks to develop new strategies that inspire young minds to take an active role in safeguarding our shared heritage. Through their participation in this prestigious event, they hope to contribute to the development of a network for cultural heritage education across Asia, ensuring that the path they illuminate today leads to a future where our cultural treasures continue to thrive and inspire.
