Описание к видео Group linked to Brotherhood condemns coup, secular coalition dismayed by aid threats

(19 Aug 2013) A human rights group led by the Muslim Brotherhood on Monday condemned the Egyptian security forces for their violent clamp down on supporters of the ousted president Mohammed Morsi.
The Anti-Coup Alliance held a news conference in Cairo where they claimed Morsi supporters had been denied justice.
"From the beginning of these events and the military coup, we have seen a failure of the justice system in Egypt. A system that does not exist at all," said Ahmed Abu Baraka, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and defence committee for political detainees.
On the same day, Egypt's largest coalition of secular opposition parties, the National Salvation Front (NSF), held a separate news conference condemning the Muslim Brotherhood as a "terrorist" institution.
Head of the NSF, Ahmad Said, told reporters that Egypt had experienced an "unprecedented wave of terrorism".
"Egyptians today are enduring the war declared on them by the Muslim Brotherhood, an organisation whose mask has dropped to uncover their true terrorist nature," he said.
He also criticised the international community for threatening to cut economic aid to the country.
Egypt's military-backed interim government declared a state of emergency after last Wednesday's crackdown on the pro-Morsi sit-ins in Cairo and ensuing street clashes elsewhere in the capital and in other cities and towns across the country.
The number of people killed since Wednesday's crackdown has nearly reached 1,000 people.
The military-backed interim government that took over after Morsi's ouster has also began taking harsher measures to cripple the Brotherhood.
Security forces arrested hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood members early Sunday in raids on their homes in different cities, aimed at disrupting planned rallies to support Morsi.
The Cabinet also held an emergency meeting to consider banning the group.
