Christmas 2017!!!

Christmas is always an exciting time of year, but with this being only Lucy and Henry's second time to ever celebrate Christmas, it makes this season even MORE special! And let's be honest, hearing Lucy say "I'm so lucky!" and "just what I wanted" are just about the sweetest things ever! She has taught us SO much, but the lessons that are the dearest to my heart are to enjoy every moment and be content with what you have, not what you wish you had.

Welcome to A Real Life Fairytale. This is our journey- to becoming a family of 9 (about to be 10!!!) through adoption. We are just like every family, a little crazy and a lot of love. We started this channel to give people a honest, tangible look at adopting children with special needs. Our children range from 7 years up to 20. We have a passion for orphans and a heart for children with Down syndrome and vision impairment. It's sometimes hard, often times spectacular and always, always worth it.
