MY HASHIMOTOS DISEASE STORY | Thyroid Autoimmune Chronic Illness Journey

Hello my friends! Today I’d like to share with you my hashimotos thyroiditis disease. This is an autoimmune condition which your body’s immune system attacks the thyroid. I had many false negative tests. I didn’t get a positive antibodies test, and didn’t get diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I had a long road to get diagnosed with this. I was told it was fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue but nothing else was wrong. Come to find out finally that I was misdiagnosed and I actually had hashimotos. I have dealt with severe muscle aches and fatigue and finally have some answers!

I am a stay at home mama to a sweet baby girl, and wife to an amazing husband. I also have several chronic illnesses (see below). I am passionate about sharing my story to help those suffering like I do. I have a degree in health education and I am certified in nutrition, chronic disease, and health promotion.
