So I decided I will never keep mounted orchids, as they simply do not go well with my life style and possibilities. When I say they don't go well I mean I cannot spend as much time as they would need on caring for them. The end result is a neglected, sad orchid.

There is nothing wrong with potted orchids as long as the air/moisture balance is on point. they cannot see where they grow, they can just feel when something is wrong. I will however make a hybrid basket mount pot :)) that will hopefully work better with my potting medium and environment, especially for those orchids with a weird growth pattern so stay tuned for that!
