Changing my mind on Ran, she feels pretty strong. The + shape scope isn't intuitive to me, but it's good for punching through bullet walls and still has a wide range for catching bullets for power. I think this is the only video I've uploaded so far where I bother killing the boss, because Ran has the shot damage to do it conveniently.
