An Italian archaeologist has travelled to Pakistan to try to restore a centuries-old rock carving of Buddha.

Five years ago, The Taliban had tried to blow up the monument near the town of Jahanabad.

And as Al Jazeera's Kamal Hyder reports, many other archaeological sites are being excavated.
