The 169th Treaty Day Commemoration & 44th Cultural Center Anniversary.
An amazing event displaying the cultural traditions and pageantry of the Yakama Nation and visiting Tribes. The resplendent regalia displayed beautifully the hundreds of hours work that went into each persons attire. Men, women, and children all participated it the Grand Entry which was a memory of a lifetime. The 2024 royalty was chosen and crowned during the evening and two outstanding athletes from Toppenish where honored as well.
