ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Ha Dao practices photography through writing, curating and working on her own projects. She coordinates the programs at Matca while grudgingly accepting the new position as the only available event host.

Moses Tan is an artist and an enabler at artist-run space starch. In his practice, he is interested in the various intersections of queerness, melancholy, shame, affect and poetic resistance. He often works with drawing, video and sculpture in his installations. As an enabler at starch, he shifts between curatorial work and project management to help foster artistic experimentation.

Nindityo Adipurnomo studied at ASRI (Yogyakarta) and Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten. His work pays great attention to popular culture and thrives on the abundance of local crafts in Indonesia. He founded and managed Cemeti Art House Yogyakarta with artist Mella Jaarsma from 1987 to 2017. He also established the IVAA Visual Art Documentation Centre in 1995 and is on the Yogyakarta Biennale Board of Trustees.
