Earlier this week, Monday evening to be exact, I went on News Nation on, uh, Dan Abrams live, uh, to talk about the tightening polls between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. And yes, according to a couple polls, the race has gotten tighter. But the host who was not Dan Abrams, there was a guest host that night, framed it to me saying that Donald Trump has all the momentum right now. Everything is shifted in Trump's favor while ignoring the fact, by the way, that no Trump is not gaining. What happened is that in these two polls, as there were two of them, uh, Harris lost a tiny bit of support. It doesn't mean that support went over to Donald Trump, it just means she lost a little bit, which was expected after the bounce from her coming into the race and the bounce from the debate wore off. So that's a problem. And the question I have is, how is this Republican leaning poll so much worse for Donald Trump than the NBC news poll that came out this weekend showing, oh my God, it's 48 to 48%. Right?

None of the polls right now are telling us really anything other than it's going to be a close race. Like neither candidate is gonna run away with this thing. But here's the thing I want to point out about that NBC news poll at the same time that that poll was conducted during the same dates, okay? A morning consult poll came out showing Kamala Harris six points ahead of Donald Trump and leading in four of the swing states. The difference

Is the morning consult poll talked to 11,000 people and had a margin of error of 1%. The NBC news poll that showed a much tighter race only talked to 1000 people and had a 3.1% margin of error. So tiny sample size, big margin of error, versus big sample size and tiny margin of error. So what I'm saying is don't stress yourself out about the polls. Every single poll is showing us something radically different from the next one. No polls are giving us the same results, not even the Republicans internal polling. They're freaking out about that as well. They should be. 'cause not only did it show that Donald Trump's getting his butt kicked, it showed that a lot of their Senate candidates are also getting their butts kicked. The only thing that matters is showing up to vote. Okay? We are gonna be inundated with polls over the next two and a half weeks, and I'm gonna talk about the polls because they are newsworthy. But I'm also going to constantly remind you that none of this is real until you go to the polls, okay? That's the only thing that matters. Use the polls as guides, let 'em know. You know, they let you know if you need to step on the gas a little bit more or if you're going in the right direction.
