How to embroider onto knitwear

Learn how to embroider onto your knitwear using a very simple chain stitch. You can apply this method to your handmade items, as well as onto any sweater or clothing you have bought. Who knows where this new skill could lead you?! For knitwear I recommend using yarn. Be mindful of washing instructions as any yarn with wool could shrink or felt. Like wise you could use embroidery thread to work the chain stitch to embellish the yoke and cuffs of linen or cotton tops.

There is no end to the application of embroidery and this simple chain stitch is a classic. With only a few variations of the technique you can make the Lazy Daisy stitch, Feather Stitch, Button Hole Stitch... and so much more.
