Ride with us along Highway 199 from Grants Pass, Oregon, to Crescent City, California. This highway is designated the Redwood Highway, and riding between these giant trees in Jedediah Smith Redwood State Park near the south end of this route can be a spiritual experience. Earlier along this route is the Smith River Canyon, 15 miles of tight twists and turns as Highway 199 follows the Smith River through a narrow rock gorge, a stretch that seems to be built for motorcyclists.
