In this video I reveal all my tricks for installing threaded neck inserts for bolts.

I recommend 1/4"-20 inserts as the bolts are very easy to find locally.
I prefer these inserts (let's call them big box store inserts, as the thread is larger, which bites into the wood deeper (and is rock solid after flooding it with ca glue)
