The outdoor industry uses a balanced portfolio of both natural and synthetic fibers that include animal byproducts such as down, wool and leather. We are committed to supporting the development of standards that work to ensure the welfare of animals, leveraging our presence in the down, wool, and leather supply chains.

We answer the question where do materials come from and how are thy sourced? Outdoor industry brands want to ensure animal welfare through freedom from hunger and thirst, discomfort, feat and distress. By using recycled materials, tracing materials throughout the supply chain, and collaborating with other industries, we’re on our way to creating new standards, and educational and training opportunities for companies focused on sustainable business.

and ethical practices.
Promote global solutions and standards for animal welfare.
