The risk perception test or the hazard perception test is a test performed on the computer to check whether the future driver can recognize and estimate various hazards presented during a short video clip.
During the test, 5 short videos are shown, after which a choice is made from 4 answers. A minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 answers are possible.
The correction is made according to GIS correction: with a correct answer you get 1 point, with an incorrect answer 1 point is deducted and a correct answer that is not indicated counts for 0 points.
A minimum score of 6/10 is required to pass this test.
This test is part of the practical exam for the driving license B and is carried out before the practical exam on the public road in Flanders.
