A brief look at a 2 metre ScopeDome

The 2-metre ScopeDome is the smallest of the ScopeDome range, and is a high-quality facility for astronomy. It's best suited as a remote-control dome for astrophotography.

After receiving a shipment of these domes, Bill from Sidereal Trading made a video showing some of their features.

This dome is delivered as a single piece, meaning there's nothing to put together, which means it's strong and reliable. But it's also heavy, about 250kg.

In the video, Bill goes through some of the ScopeDome's features, and shows a few telescopes that fit inside.
