DESCRIPTION: Dwight and Angela from The Office are my favorite TV couple. Hands down. But after two years of dating, they broke up. If they were my coaching clients, I could have helped them avoid their breakup altogether, or at least have helped them get back together sooner than they did. Their breakup ultimately boiled down to a lack of communication on both their parts, but also a lack of consideration of Angela's needs and wants on Dwight's part. He handled the situation of her sick cat as he would have if he were in her situation. He genuinely thought he was helping! When Angela was explaining all of the medications her cat needed, she didn't communicate that the reason she gives her cat all of these medications is because she wants her cat to be around for as long as possible. She thought that was a given because she loves her cat. She didn't think she needed to explain that to Dwight.
