Since sending audio over Bluetooth is a digital transmission of audio, it's good for us to understand what conversions are taking place in the journey from our devices to our ears. Thinking about the sample rate, bit depth, and different aspects of compression can help us make good choices about to support the fidelity of our audio chain.

One vital aspect of Bluetooth audio transmission revolves around the use of codecs, which play a big role in encoding and decoding audio data. Through various codecs such as SBC, AAC, aptX, and LDAC, Bluetooth devices have to strike a delicate balance between efficient compression and preserving audio quality, allowing us to enjoy our favorite music with minimal compromise.
