Sasaima is located on the road that leads from Bogotá to the city of Medellín, through the Facatativá exit that leads to Villeta, 80 km from the the capital. The municipality is located at an altitude of 1,150 meters above sea level. n. m., with an average temperature of 24 ºC and an average annual rainfall of 2800 mm. Its main economic activity, in addition to tourism, is agricultural production, whose main products are poultry, pig farming, and crops such as coffee, fruit trees, and vegetables.
