Jazzing up Music Education in Philadelphia | KIPP West Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School

Celebrated Philly jazz musicians Orrin Evans and Justin Faulkner collaborated with the KIPP West Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School’s “bounce band” to spotlight music education in the latest episode of Our City, Your Orchestra. The emphasis on instrumental music education gives students at KIPP the opportunity to take the skills they learn beyond the classroom and implement the values in their everyday lives.
