They say that sequels are usually doomed to fail - but this finale to the Living Desert Zoo's African Safari is a cheetah's speed ahead of part one. Last time we trekked this living desert in Palm Desert, California we covered their newest additions: mongooses, mole rats and rhinos that can walk over your head. Part two may not have anything like that but the animals speak for themselves. Big cats, small cats, big dogs, small dogs, and a plethora of some of the rarest hoofstock in Africa. Species that are underappreciated and becoming harder and harder to find in zoos.
