In today's episode, we continue with the Panchatantra. Victor continues his campaign to separate Rusty from Lively and portrays himself as a helpful advisor. In Chapter 17, he tells the story of a lion and a carpenter to illustrate his point. Then, in Chapter 18, a story within a story begins with the plover telling his wife how he will beat the ocean.

In a certain city, there lived a carpenter named Trustgood. Every day, he would go with his wife into the forest where he cut great logs of anjan. One day, the carpenter encounters a lion named Spotless, who becomes his friend after sharing a meal. However, the lion's companions, a jackal and a crow, plot against the carpenter, leading to a tense confrontation.

A plover named Sprawl and his wife Constance live by the shore of the sea. Constance worries about the safety of their eggs, but Sprawl reassures her of his strength. However, Constance challenges his bravado, leading to a deeper story about the consequences of overestimating one's abilities.
