My 2017 Toyota doesn’t have Apple CarPlay, so with the help of this new CarABC module, I’m able to add it. This also supports Android Auto, mirror, and USB playback (mp4, mkv, mp3). I also show how to remove the radio and reinstall with dashboard trim for similar model 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 2021, 2022 Toyota Prius.

Sometimes I get a black screen glitch when I shift into reverse quickly before the carabc logo appears and finishes loading. In that case, press PWR/VOL button, tap AUDIO, then tap AUX again
