1. South Korea's exports went up over 11 percent on-year in the first 20 days of April thanks to growing demand for chips.
Where is this surging global demand for semiconductors coming from and what are they being used for?

2. Is that why major investment banks are revising up Korea's growth outlook?


3. But does the outlook reflect global uncertainties like the crisis in the Middle East, as some analysts are not too optimistic about the two percent growth goal?


4. Let's also talk about the South Korean foreign exchange market, seeing a level of 14-hundred won against the U.S. dollar last week for the first time since 2022.

5. Would you say the U.S. Federal Reserves interest rate decision, particularly a much anticipated rate cut, is playing a significant role here?
