I compared the 2015 US Kino Blu-ray to the 2024 UK Studio Canal Blu-ray (from a new 4K scan) in this comparison. I noted some odd cropping on individual shots on the 2015 release that are not cropped on the 2024 release. The sound on the 2024 release doesn’t have the same distortion in the sibilants as the 2015 release either. I’m not sure if the expanded dynamic range and resolution shows in this comparison as compressed for streaming on YouTube, so I zoomed in at 2x in the second half.
