Indian Drums Tabla and Mridangam BopPad and Akai MPX 8

Описание к видео Indian Drums Tabla and Mridangam BopPad and Akai MPX 8

Akai MPX 8 (and KMI BopPad Midi in)

Couple of nice features
1) You can add put your samples in SD Card and save as a Kit in MPX
2) Using the mpx8 finger drumming pad and mpx keys/wheel, select any previously saved kit. Ex: Tabla, Mridangam, Dhol, Dholak, of course all the kick/snare/high-low hats etc.,
3) Lesser lag when compared to midi controllers connected to DAW
4) All samples are 16 bit, 44.1k mono sounds similar to Alesis Samplepad
5) Connect MIDI IN and connect other instruments. Ex: connected BopPad using KMI midi expander in this case

Downsides
1) The sound is as good as your sample. Need to be saved in 16kb mono wav
2) This doesn't have a speaker by itself. Needs a L/R out or headphones1/4 inch output to the speaker/amp/system

Overall this is definitely a better gear than loading samples on your midi controller/DAW.
