1968 Fender Princeton Reverb REPAIR & DEMO

In this video we will repair and explore an early 1968 Fender Princeton Reverb Silverface guitar amp with early aluminum drip edge and blackline cosmetics. The circuit is still the Blackface features with 5U4 rectifier and 50uf negative bias capacitor. (Later Princetons had a GZ34 rectifier tube.) We will also show some of the things to look out for if you're experiencing cabinet noises with your vintage Fender amp, such as buzz or rattle. Finally, we'll demonstrate the tone with a Telecaster. Please forgive the poor audio quality on the demo portion of this video. My iphone microphone must be damaged. Time for a new one.
