The last time I visited Brown County, I attempted to film the Federal Signal 508 near the Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay. Unfortunately, it failed on me, and I drove all the way from Sturgeon Bay just to get "Rick Rolled." If you've seen photos of that 508 on my YouTube Facebook page, you may have noticed that one of the wires on the pole is cut. I'm not sure if that's what prevented the siren from receiving the activation tones, but yeah.

This time, I decided to hit up Green Bay's unrecorded Federal Signal Model 5. This Model 5 is located outside of an American Red Cross Public & Social Services Center where Danz Ave branches off into Bader St. It also happens to be my very first Model 5 I've filmed under Federal Signal, unlike the Darley Model 5 I filmed in Shirland, IL back in April 2019.

Then, right around noon, I knew I was in luck as this siren fired up & sounded for about 35 seconds in alert since that's usually how long Brown County tests their sirens for each week. Looks like I didn't get "Rick Rolled" this time, and the 45 minute drive to Green Bay was well worth it. I'm glad I decided to attempt another siren, especially an older one, and not the same one that failed on me last year. Sirens in Brown County are tested every Wednesday at 12:00 PM (year-round).
