Resident Evil: Survivor [SLUS-01087] [MOD] Light Gun Support

A man wearing white, a crashed helicopter, a pair of dog tags with the name 'Ark Thompson', and a pistol. These are the only clues a young man finds to his identity as he awakes on Sheena Island. On his journey through the island he will encounter many monsters as well as discover the terrible secrets of Umbrella's biological weapons programs.

Resident Evil: Survivor is set several months after Resident Evil 2 & 3 and is the first Resident Evil title to be rendered in real time as opposed to making use of pre-rendered backdrops. Levels are explored in first person, and when enemies are encountered the press of a button will bring up a targeting reticule for shooting. As with most light-gun games there is infinite pistol ammunition available, but limited ammunition for more powerful weapons. At the end of each level two doors are presented which both lead to different levels, although all paths eventually lead to the same ending.

This patch is made for US release of Resident Evil: Survivor and here’s what it does:
1. Fixed broken music in one of the areas in the factory, that particular track was broken by those who mastered disc image for production and it is not a bad dump on your side.
2. Restored light gun support, which was removed from US release for some very dumb reason.
3. Disabled modchip detection code for your convenience.

Resident Evil Survivor, Biohazard Gun Survivor — видеоигра, разработанная «Capcom» и вышедшая в 2000 году на консоли PlayStation. Побочная часть серии Resident Evil. Позже был выпущен порт на Windows, но он выходил только в Азии. Это была последняя игра серии, вышедшая на PlayStation и первая игра серии в жанре Light gun shooter.
Действие игры происходит на острове Шина (англ. Sheena Island). У главного героя игры настаёт амнезия из-за сотрясения мозга, полученного в результате авиа-катастрофы. Население острова заражено Т-вирусом. Главная задача Томпсона — выйти из этого ада живым и вспомнить о себе всё.
