This has been our first time ever to Italy and we started our culinary journey in Naples the food capital of Italy.

The Grand Hotel Parker's is probably one of the Best Luxurious Hotels in Italy, especially given its mesmerizing views of the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius, Posillipo and the old town of Napoli. We were SHOCKED by the beautiful views of of Naples!
The Hotel provides Five Star Service as well as Five Star Hotel Breakfast and the Hotel Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The views were the most captivating and we fell in love with the beautiful Italian scenery.

Is Naples safe to visit? We walked in rustic local neighborhoods and felt safe. We loved the authenticity of hanging laundry and did not mind the somewhat run-down areas, we are used to that from India and honestly that always adds a bit of unique charm, highly polished cities are of course nice to visit but could lack character, there is then often no story to the city. In less glamorous areas you can sense the hardship yet passion of people, get a snipped of their lives and may occasionally even relate. We know, this is romanticizing poverty and crime but they should be acknowledged as facts and are mostly an integral part of that society and place. Be vigilant and mindful for sure, just like in any bigger city especially if it has a bit of a rough image but at the same time be open minded.
We honestly enjoyed our first ever trip to Italy and are so happy that we started off our Italian travel in Napoli!
