The Cambridge Annotated Study Bible NRSV

Описание к видео The Cambridge Annotated Study Bible NRSV

A review of The Cambridge Annotated Study Bible NRSV (ISBN 0521507774). This red hardback edition presents the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) text of the 66 books of the Protestant canon, along with explanatory notes, text and translation notes, and references. It was edited by Howard Clark Kee. This is an older study Bible. As far as I can tell, it is no longer in print, but it should be available from vendors of used books, as should the companion volume, The NRSV Cambridge Annotated Study Apocrypha.

This Bible is 9 1/2 x 7 1/16 x 1 3/4 inches in dimensions.

The Biblical text is presented in an 8 point font arranged in two columns and divided into paragraphs. It is not line-matched. Page-bottom text and translation notes are in a 6.5 point font, as are the references (placed in the inner margin), and the explanatory notes (in the outer margin). On most pages, there is a wide, blank margin at the bottom of the page.

The words of Christ are in black ink.

The paper is heavy (approximately 50 gsm) and opaque. The text block is sewn.

The volume includes introductions for each book. These introductions are generally of a skeptical and academic character, as are the explanatory notes.

This study Bible includes eight color maps on matte paper. The maps do not enter the gutter. There are no ribbon markers.
