How To Clean & Maintain Your Tripod | Wet Method

Today I decided to make a video on how to clean your camera tripod and making it nice and simple to follow, We do a deep clean into the tripod and it is also on maintenance. The tripod construction of each tripod is pretty similar across the board on how it comes apart, there are some brands which are the exception to this though.

If you have any questions about what I have shown you in this video please ask me in the comments section :) I realise some use other methods to clean their tripods, I also have a couple others but this is my main way.

As someone mentioned in the comments be careful using to much pressure more so around the ball head on some tripods as they contain grease and this can get washed away or traces of it over time unless you personally reapply the grease yourself. I forgot about this with my gear as mine doesn't use any grease, PMG strive not to use it so the gear is more reliable in all temperatures, even in artic conditions the heads will still perform where lesser tripods will get stiff.
