QUACK QUACK…Calling all Duck Hunters!

This paracord project is a duck tote to go around your neck or shoulder. The one in our example has 8 loops on the pink tote and 10 loops on the orange tote..it is very versatile and easy to add more loops if needed.

You will need:

-Scissors
-Lighter
-Ruler (tape measure)
-Paracord

So our paracord math for the project is:

4 x 4 feet inner strands – 16 feet

1st weave layer – 2 colors x 10 feet = 20 feet

2nd weave layer – 2 colors x 10 feet = 20 feet

TOTAL 56 feet of Wild Wolf Paracord

1st Step, measure out about 12 inches from the end of the inner strands and tie a knot. This will mark our starting and ending points for our weave..it also helps keep the inner strands together.

Make your knot on both ends of the inner strands. This should leave about 20-24 inches (depending on how tight you tie the knot) in middle for us to weave.

Now we start our cobra weave. I chose 2 colors and then I am going to reverse the main color of the king cobra weave.

If you need to know how to do a cobra weave, you can find the steps here: http://wildwolfpack.net/2016/12/19/pa...

Continue the cobra weave until you reach the other knot.

Then we will cut the remaining paracord, burn the ends and melt them into the project. You may want to hold on to the excess paracord…as it is easy to add those pieces as extra tote loops.

Now we are do our king cobra stitch (same as the cobra stitch just a 2nd layer). I started about 6 inches from the last layer as this is the main part that will be on my neck or my shoulder.

Continue weaving until you are about 6 inches from the 2nd end.

Then we will cut the remaining paracord, burn the ends and melt them into the project. You may want to hold on to the excess paracord here also for extra tote loops.

This is optional..you can leave the knot or remove the knot holding the inner strands.

Then you just tie slip knots into all the inner pieces to use as your totes.

Also, any of the excess paracord that I told you to hold on to. You can easily use a paracord fid needle and attach those sections to the weave for additional tote loops.
