I didn't even realize how well these lyrics fit his story until I was well into making this video lmao

I also remember all too well, back in April of 2022, when I had just finished Heartstopper season 1 and people kept talking about this other "similar" show on Netflix called Young Royals. Another LGBTQ+ story with adorable leads? Didn't take a lot of convincing!
Pretty sure I watched all of season 1 in one go and I really liked it. Heavy emphasis on "liked" because at that time it hadn't yet taken my heart by storm.
But then.. November 2022. Season 2. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
Everything from Wille being in his bad-bitch era, to him going to therapy (with Boris❤️) and talking about his loneliness and the pressure of it all.. I was HOOKED. Saying how he also felt lonely before, with Erik, but it was different because he knew that he was still there? Tears. The way he threatened August' life with a rifle?! THAT'S MY BOY! Him screaming at his Mum and the Royal Court, telling them that he doesn't want any of that bullshit? *chef's kiss*. All the death stares at August!??!!?!? Embarrassing him every chance he gets?!??! loved every second of it. Season 2 is my favourite season and it legit changed my brain chemistry hahah
and season 3!!!
YES. Everything about it, is a big fat yes for me. he is finally free of this life sentence they tried to paint as a "blessing".
Wilmon is my roman empire all the way and I loved all of their cute little boyfriend moments❤️
hooooowever; my favourite scene in that season.. maybe even the entire show honestly.. is the one between Wille and August, where August is telling him that "Erik would have loved you no matter what".
With my big brother also having passed away 8 years ago, that sentence (and whole scene) broke and healed me all in one. Beautiful.

Edvin portrayed Wilhelm in such a beautiful way and I'm so happy that I got to experience him growing up on that set for the last 2 years. Wille is for sure my #1 comfort character. Watching him on screen fills me with a feeling of belonging and that's something I'm super grateful for.

Also a quick thank you to Omar, because he played the perfect second half of our beloved Wilmon. ❤️
