Nagdhunga Surung Marga | Nagdunga Tunnel and Balambu Flyover update

In this video, I am going to show you Nagdunga Tunnel and Balambu Flyover update.
The Nagdunga Tunnel and Balambu flyover road work is almost done. The lining work inside the tunnel has been completed, other finishing work is going on at a fast pace. It has been mentioned that the physical progress of Nagadhunga-Sisnekhola tunnel construction has reached 80.5 percent in four years.
The construction of this tunnel was started on 4th November 076. But there was a problem in completing the project on time due to the covid epidemic and the frequent disruptions of the locals. After the tunnel is put into operation, two-wheelers and vehicles carrying fuel will not be allowed to drive in the tunnel.
Currently, the construction work of flyover in Balambu in Kathmandu is going on in full swing, which you can see in this video. So far 3 under passes, three box culverts, one over pass and 3 bridges have been completed.
The construction of the tunnel is being done by the Japanese company Hazma Endo Corporation. In this project, which is contracted for 22 billion rupees, Japan has 16 and a half billion rupees as loan support. The Government of Nepal has invested 6 billion rupees in this. The distance of the main tunnel is 2.688 km.
As the work was not completed in time, the deadline was extended till 081 Baisakh 13. But when the work was not completed even at that time, the deadline was extended by one and a half years. According to which it was said that vehicles will be brought into operation from the tunnel within 082 October.
It is said that 80 percent of the work has been completed in four years since the construction of Nagadhunga tunnel started. The 'break through' of the emergency tunnel took place on 080 July 22. !Its distance is 2557 meters. According to the previous agreement, the duration of the project was till 080 Baisakh.
