Описание к видео Kerala Jackfruit With Chicken Curry | Chicken Curry & Chakka Vevichath

Ingredients
Chicken – 1 kg
Shallots – 3 to 4 nos
Onion – 3nos
Tomatoes – 2 nos
Green chilli – 2 to 3 nos
Ginger – 1 nos
Garlic – 6 to 7 nos
Curry leaves – 2 to 3 sprigs
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Dry red chilli – 7 to 8 nos
Pepper seed – 1 tsp
Coriander seed -1 or 2 tsp
Cinnamon stick – small piece
Star anise- 1 or 2 pods
Fennel seed – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Mustard seed – 1 tsp

Method

First we have to grated the coconut in a plate
Then add dry red chilli ,chopped shallots ,star anise, cinnamon,fennel seed and coriander seed.
Then chopped the cleaned tomatoes ,onion and green chilli set aside.
Then crush the ginger and garlic set aside.
Heat oil in a pan add the mix of dry red chilli, shallots,star anise ,coriander seed etc.,saute for few minutes.
Then add few curry leaves ,Saute them well till they become light golden brown.
Remove from fire and keep a side
Crush the whole sauted ingredients into fine paste and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion and green chilli,saute for few minutes.
Then add crushed ginger garlic mix and salt ,combine and saute them well.
Add some curry leaves and sauted them well.
Then add curry powders such as red chilli powder and turmeric powder ,saute for few seconds
Add chopped tomatoes and saute till they become soften.
Add cleaned chicken pieces and combine them well.
Cook for 5 to 6 minutes ,add the grinded coconut mix with water,combine them well.
Ones the chicken is well cooked remove from heat and set aside.
Heat oil in another pan ,add mustard seed ,let them crackled
Then add dry red chilli,chopped shallots and curry leaves ,saute and fry them well.
Remove from heat pour the fried mixture in to the chicken curry pan and mix them well.
Serve the tasty chicken curry with cooked jackfruit mix.

Steamed Jackfruit Recipe

Ingredients
Jackfruit – 1
Shallots – 6 to 7 nos
Green chilli – 2 to 3 nos
Curry leaves – 3 to 4 sprigs
Grated coconut – 1 cup
Salt – 1 or 2 tsp

Method

Firstly, cut open the jackfruit and separate the flesh from the seeds.
Then chopped the jackfruit flesh and keep aside.
Then chopped the cleaned shallots and green chili in a bowl.
Then add a few curry leaves and grated coconut into a bowl.
In a heavy bottom pot, add chopped jackfruit.
Then add water into the grated coconut and other ingredients mix bowl, squeezing with neat hands.
Add the coconut mix to the jackfruit pan, add a sufficient amount of water and salt.
Then place the pan on the heat, cover and cook on medium heat for around 10 minutes till it is steamy inside.
Now, remove the lid and mix everything thoroughly.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Serve the steamed jackfruit mix with tasty chicken curry.
