Semi Abstract Sunflower Paintings in Acrylics and Mixed Media

Do you want to achieve a timeless look in your artwork?! Then you might like painting in black and white with a hint of color.

The sunflowers from last summer inspired me to paint two semi abstract paintings of Sunflowers. I used acrylic ink and acrylic paint on watercolor paper. The paintings ended up having a bit if of a Sumi (Sumi-e) Brush Painting/Chinese brush painting look to them, which I really like. They also ended up looking like two modern renditions of sunflowers that I would be happy to hang on my wall.
