Robert Horton was an American actor and singer, born on July 29, 1924, in Los Angeles, California. He began his career as a contract player for MGM in the 1940s, but his breakthrough role came in 1957 when he starred as the wagon train scout Flint McCullough in the TV series "Wagon Train". Horton also appeared in several films, including "The Green Slime" (1968) and "Apache War Smoke" (1952). In addition to acting, Horton was also a trained singer and performed in several musical productions. He retired from acting in the 1980s and passed away on March 9, 2016, at the age of 91.
