VERSE:
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (JOHN 8:32 KJV)
EXPLANATION:
Blessed be the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When you accept Jesus as the true God, He will open your future, give you life, and remove all the lies of the enemy. "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32)
This verse highlights the importance of the truth that sets you free. What's the truth here? It refers to Jesus, who is the only truth in this life. You may be looking at different things to gain freedom. You may be addicted to many things. You can seek relief from alcoholism, smoking, or other things to find peace. Beloved ones, only Jesus can give this freedom.
But Jesus doesn't just forgive, He heals. "And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7) Sin cannot be washed away by any medicine, by any ritual, by any human effort. Only the blood of Jesus can wash it away.
The Bible teaches that there is no forgiveness without bloodshed. "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." (Hebrews 9:22) And so God Himself came in the image of Jesus, sanctified Himself, and shed His holy blood for us. When you receive Him through faith, you are sanctified and made righteous. "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:11)
He heals through His wounds. The Bible says, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5) After His resurrection, Jesus showed His wounds that He still has in order to heal them. Many are testifying to this power.
Beloved, the Lord is within you now. He will break all bonds, as you believe. All diseases will go away. The wombs will be opened, the sicknesses will be healed, and the organs will be revived in the name of Jesus. All the strength, peace, and joy that the devil stole will be restored. Receive Him, and the Spirit of God will dwell in you. You will be reshaped to His likeness; you will become His temple; you will pass into His power.
In the book of Mark, we read about a man who was possessed by many unclean spirits. These evil spirits attacked him. But as soon as Jesus touched him, all the evil spirits fled, and he was set free. Today you may feel oppressed and tied down by many things in a similar position. Look at Jesus today. He will set you free. You can't get that kind of freedom anywhere else in the world. May this be a day of complete freedom for you.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord! I thank you for being the truth that sets me free. I thank you for revealing the truth that will set me free. I thank you for making me your child and for giving me the experience of supreme salvation. I do not want to wander from the truth my Savior Jesus. I pray that Jesus will fill the void in my heart and give me true freedom in spirit. I don't want to be bound by the things of this world. I don't want to commit sins again. Lord, I trust that You will come into my heart and deliver me, so that I may experience true freedom and happiness in You. Wash me from sin with your holy blood. Break all the shackles, curses and slavery in my life. Heal my body, mind, and spirit with your wounds. My family and my future. Fill me with your Spirit and give me peace. Day by day I will be transformed into your image. Make me a blessing to those who are built. I declare in the mighty name of Jesus that I take my liberty and rejoice in you. I pray in the name of Jesus, Good Father, Amen.
