Reunion: Denver Health Paramedics Save Man at DIA
Burton Litman was flying from Florida to Oregon, with a layover in Denver. As the 83-year-old made his way to his gate at Denver International Airport, he went into cardiac arrest, which was a complete shock because he hadn't had a hint of any heart trouble his entire life. Bystanders started CPR and Denver Health paramedics came to his aide and got him to the hospital. After recovering, Litman and his wife had a special opportunity to reunite with the paramedics who saved him before he returned to his home in Central Oregon.
