Jayaparvati Vrat is observed in Ashad Maas in Gujarati Calendar.


Jaya Parvati Vrat is significant fast dedicated to Goddess Jaya, a form of Goddess Parvati. This fast is observed by unmarried girls as well as by married women. जया पार्वती व्रत हर वर्ष आषाढ़ शुक्ल त्रयोदशी से शुरू होता है और पांच दिनों तक चलता है। इस व्रत को जया-पार्वती व्रत अथवा विजया-पार्वती व्रत के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। शास्त्रों के अनुसार जया पार्वती व्रत सौभाग्य की कामना के लिए विवाहित महिलाओं द्वारा किया जाता है। इसके अलावा इस दिन अविवाहित महिलाएं भी व्रत करती है और अच्छे पति की कामना के साथ माता पार्वती की पूजा करती है।आइये जानें इस व्रत से जुड़े महत्व, कथा और पूजन विधि के बारे में...
