My total study structure:
1. Make a spreadsheet/list of the topics from the sylabus/specification (can usually be found online or ask the teacher) and mark them all initially as red:
2. Identify a topic you are bad at. To start this would be through going through the Red topics, however you may strategically do this method before a lesson on a certain topic to get ahead, and will identify more weaknesses that should be reviewed in due time (e.g. mistake questions from exam papers)
3. Once you have identified this topic, find a piece of content that explains it, e.g: YouTube videos, Textbook explanation, Recorded Lectures.
Watch/read this in full attention, making only minimal or no notes, in most cases, writing only key words/key information
If there is review questions at the end attempt them blind (without looking at the resources), then compare to the answers and work through at the end.
4. Get Textbook/Exam style questions, and do them blind untimed and compare them to the markscheme. Ensure you get over 90% correct for these questions, and understand why your incorrect answers were incorrect. For exam questions, anything where you dropped marks for non-silly mistakes (e.g. reading 1 as -1 dont do this) take a picture/screenshot of this question
5. Your screenshots/pictures of mistake questions should be reviewed once a week, ideally redoing multiple of these questions in 1 sitting under timed conditions
6. Do exam papers if available for the subject, using the same mistake question method as mentioned before.
