Busy Bookish Week - June 2024 | Worst book(s) of my year? Spartan 5k race, book rants, and more!

Follow me along in a bookish week in my life! Sorry, this is a LONG one, as this was a very busy week and I had some BIG thoughts about two books, haha.

This week, my husband and I had a road trip over the weekend to complete a Spartan Sprint - a 5k obstacle race ⚔️ It was perhaps the most fun we have had all year!

Unfortunately, though, I had a kind of bad reading week. I read quite a bit, which was great, but I did NOT enjoy two books I started this week at all...The Shadows Between Us and The 4 Hour Work Week. They might be in the absolute bottom tier of books I have read this year.

Fortunately I did enjoy Powerless and I really loved The Seven Year Slip (which, as a contemporary romance novel, was quite shocking!) so this week was not all bad 💜
