When "The Karate Kid" hit theaters in 1984 I had no idea that I would be instantly hooked! In fact, I went back to see it again and again until I owned it on VHS! The story of Daniel LaRusso and the inspiration of Mr. Miyagi captured my generation: "Daniel-san... [taps his head] Karate here. [taps his heart] Karate here. [points to his belt] Karate never here. Understand (Mr. Miyagi)?" In this short video I visit the school campus used as Daniel and Ali's high school (Woodland Hills, CA), the house used as Ali Mills' house (Encino, CA), and Golf n' Stuff where Daniel and Ali had their first date (Norwalk, CA)! ...Just a few places I've been.
