Wildflower Stories: I Choose to Grow

What does self-love look like in the face of adversity? How do we stay grounded in our roots and continue to grow? In this 2-part series, featuring original poetry by Destiny’s own youth, we explore these questions through the lens of radical self-love.

In May 2024, Destiny Arts Center premiered Wildflower, an electrifying dance and theater production presented by Destiny Arts Youth Performance Company, in collaboration with Destiny Arts Junior Company, Bandaloop, and The Elders Project. This captivating show took audiences on an emotional journey from seed to blossom, exploring the raw and uncomfortable truths that accompany growth.
