The original intro to Ivor Wood's Woodland Animations' animated stop-motion series Postman Pat, broadcasted on the BBC in the Eighties and Nineties.

Join Pat and his cat Jess on his rounds around Greendale, though there's always something to imped the post, Pat can always rely on his friends and neighbours in the village.

New episodes of the series were made by Cosgrove Halls, the company behind such cartoons as Danger Mouse and Count Duckula, but the new series is felt by fans of the original to not be as good.
