TransLink C40LF (# P3306) On Route 791

* As of a few weeks ago, these buses have been pulled from revenue service and have been put up for sale.

Easily the weirdest sounding buses in the fleet, these once ran with the Detroit Series 50G engine but 6 buses including this one were retrofitted with the C Gas+ engine, the rest of them were converted to diesel. However the C Gas+ engine coupled with the Voith transmission left much to be desired performance wise which is why these were first confined to peak hour service and then finally pulled from service entirely.

This route, 791 is the highest numbered conventional route in the system, it runs only on week days and is one of the few routes you could find C40LFs on that included a freeway stretch, this is near the end of the video which ends with a trip over the Pitt River Bridge
