#01 亡き親友のデザイナー永野敦子さんの供養で青山サロンの一日店長を務めました。
親交のあった方々にお会いし賑やかに思い出話をすろことができました。

85歳のジャズシンガー、「マスミオーマンディ」の公式YouTubeチャンネルです。
「子どもたちに夢と使命感を持って世界に羽ばたいて欲しい」という思いで、人間教育の一環として英語教育に関わって半世紀。

近年では、より大きな意味での教育・文化活動として、「英語と音楽は世界のパスポート」を合言葉に日本、アメリカ、ヨーロッパで活動の幅を広げています。

この度、日常の飾らない等身大のマスミオーマンディをもっと多くの人に知ってもらいたい、というスタッフのわがままを聞いていただき、本人公認のYouTube チャンネルを開設いたしました。月に一度程度の頻度で更新し、色んなマスミオーマンディの「顔」に迫ります。
日本のみならず、世界中の人々に「チャレンジ精神」を届けることが私達クルーの思いです。

This is the official YouTube channel of 85-year-old jazz singer “Masumi Ormandy.”  She has been involved in English education for half a century, with the hope that children will spread their wings to the world and fulfill their dreams.

In recent years, she has been expanding her educational and cultural activities in Japan, the USA and Europe advocating English and music as being “passports to the world.”

We have set up this YouTube channel to share different aspects of her daily life.  The channel will be updated about once a month and will show the "face" of Masumi Ormandy in a variety of ways.  Our crew's desire is to share her “spirit of challenge” with people not only in Japan,  but all over the world.
